RAL colours intensify sales activities in China

St. Augustin – As a consequence of booming demand for RAL colour samples in both the paint manufacturing and paint processing industries in China, RAL has significantly expanded its distribution network. Starting immediately, the entire RAL colour card programme will be marketed throughout China by the colour specialists Ocean Power Color Technology Co., Ltd. With headquarters in Shenzhen/Guangdong, the company operates subsidiary branch offices in Beijing, Shanghai and Chengdu, as well as in a further 16 Chinese cities.

The new RAL sales and distribution partner now guarantees fast, nationwide availability of RAL colours – already accepted by China’s industrial sector as the most important foreign colour standard. RAL intends to consolidate and expand its position over the coming years.

For both, RAL and Ocean Power Color Technology (China’s leading company in colour standardisation), this new partnership is not limited solely to marketing the RAL colour card programme. It is complemented by jointly organised colour workshops, training and information events for various user groups – for instance, designers or architects. RAL also supports Ocean Power Color Technology, a company with access to the most important Chinese research centre for colour sciences and technology, the Chinese Colour Standards R&D Centre, in the development of future colour systems for the Chinese industrial sector.
